There was an interesting article recently on how she and Prince Albert collected art. I may be able to track it down if you are interested. Another current author that gives a glimpse of that period is Marissa Doyle in Bewitching Season, where the heroines meet the young soon to be Queen Victoria and help her escape her mother and Sir John Conroy, a nasty and real historical figure. It will be interesting to see how this book portrays this situation.Jenny Schwartzberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06346217514073560797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6394376098593972732.post-20972626804841646892010-10-14T23:12:13.554-07:002010-10-14T23:12:13.554-07:00Sounds great! The events contain all the elements for a bildungsroman story for children. I always love to read historical fiction, and then read other books to try to get a more rounded and accurate picture of that time.Rickahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03263698762814788515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6394376098593972732.post-14629070289137997862010-10-14T10:14:53.480-07:002010-10-14T10:14:53.480-07:00Sounds terrificSounds terrificLaurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12336642759681466780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6394376098593972732.post-53978658903320903692010-10-13T12:51:43.564-07:002010-10-13T12:51:43.564-07:00This sounds lovely!
